This week, Melbourne’s Stonnington Jazz festival kicks off with a myriad of quality performances in the surrounds just south of the Yarra River. Stonnington Jazz has established a strong track record of presenting memorable performances from a variety of Australian artists based in Melbourne, interstate and internationally, both established names and those in the early stages of their careers, and across a pleasingly wide range of jazz styles.
As always, Stonnington Jazz is a proudly Australian event, reflecting the wealth of talent that can be heard throughout the year in Melbourne and around the country. Highlights of this year’s festival include events such as; Vince Jones in his Monash Series concert, James Morrison’s Inheritance show, jazz stalwart Bob Sedergreen and friends with Stonnington Youth Jazz, Paul Williamson’s Hammond Party, Paul Grabowsky & Virna Sanzone’s Italian project and much more.
