What happened to the show? 

We’re still here! Melbourne Guitar Show took a break in 2024 to work through some very exciting changes, and will be back in 2025. Stay tuned for more information. 

When is the next show?

You will hear more about this closer to the time, but block out the first weekend in March 2025 in your diaries! 

About the show

Australia’s biggest celebration of fretted instruments, the Melbourne Guitar Show has been running since 2015. Initiated by the Australian Music Association’s Executive Officer at the time, Rob Walker, the show has always been popular with guitar lovers whenever it was held.

The Melbourne Guitar Show is an event dedicated to the quintessential popular music instrument, the guitar, and all its associated technologies and published materials. We love associated instruments and products just as much – bass guitars, ukuleles, amps, pedals, strings, books, and more. 

Not only will the Melbourne Guitar Show provide a hands-on opportunity to see, hear and play a broad ranges of the world’s favourite brands, it will also see guitar retailers ready to deal. 

More than sixty exhibitors present hundreds of products and services, with a blend of international and Australian instruments and guitar technology.
