It’s been 3 long years since we’ve seen you but we’re breaking open the cases, dusting down the show, oiling its neck, setting its action and tuning it to perfection for a grand return in 2023.

The Australian Music Association is excited to announce the return of the Melbourne Guitar Show in 2023, set to rock Caulfield Racecourse on March 4 & 5 – and I know we say it every year but this year WILL be bigger than ever. 

Executive officer of the AMA, Alex Masso said, “the association is pleased to be able to announce the re-birth of our iconic show in 2023. The industry has missed the chance to meet face-to-face and talk to guitar enthusiasts about our great products”.

Proudly presented by Australian Musician, and supported by Marsh Entertainment and local media, early word is that it will feature both local and international guitar stars. In addition to world class performances from the artists on this massive lineup, #MGS2023 will also present a massive gear expo by over 50 exhibitors that will feature a huge variety of electric and acoustic guitars, effects pedals, amps and more state-of-the-art guitar technology, both home-grown and from around the world. 

It will continue to be Australia’s biggest guitar pop-up shop, and that’s not all.  The Melbourne Guitar Show will host information seminars, demonstrations, and live performances from some of the world’s most talented guitarists.

The first line-up announcement for #MGS2023 will be announced in the coming weeks and as it’s famous for the show will include a great mix of guitar talent to inspire your playing. Drawing nearly 5000 guitar lovers, traders and enthusiasts when last we met in 2019, the Melbourne Guitar Show will build on a recent heritage of great events since 2015.

Champion of the Australian music products industry, the Australian Music Association (AMA) will be teaming up with Australian Musician magazine and Marsh Entertainment

 Thrilled to present #MGS2023 once again, MGS organiser, Rob Walker says, “It’s exciting to see the show back again after the unusual times of the last couple of years adding value to the live music industry. We are proud to present such a broad range and quality of guitars, amps and gear from the big brands to local artisans.
