What was your first guitar?
My old man’s beaten up nylon.
What’s your main guitar now?
I play a Maton Acoustic.
Through what amp and why?
Sometimes I play it through a Blues Junior, it’s just a nice crisp sound, and easy to cart around.
Which pedals are your standards?
Well you’d have to speak to Ben about this one, I use a tuner, maybe a bit of tremelo, even reverb from time to time.
What’s your latest recording and when will you be back in the studio?
We released our second album “Trapped Flame” at the end of last year, but we’re always working on new material, fingers crossed this year sometime.
What gigs have you been playing lately?
We did a couple of National tours last year with The Paper Kites and Jae Laffer, as well as a few of our own shows.
Most memorable gig?
The Quarry in Perth was a sheer dream, an outdoor natural amphitheatre, under the stars, birds flying by, amongst the trees.
Worst stage nightmare?
Falling off the stage!
A guitar tip for the kids?
Practice, practice, practice!
